Where to Apply Highlighter

Learning where to apply highlighter is key to achieving a radiant, sculpted look. The key is to tap highlighter where the light naturally hits the face, diffusing pigment to create a hazy light across the skin. Think, a soft-focus filter that’s flattering on everyone.

• Start by applying face highlighter to tops of cheekbones, tapping and blending to the brow bone and under eyebrow arches to lift and illuminate the eye area.

• Apply highlighter down the centre of the nose - avoiding the tip - to light up the entire face from the centre.

• To create the illusion of fuller-looking lips, add a touch of highlighter to the top of the cupid’s bow and centre of the bottom lips.

• If your eyes are looking a little tired by Friday morning, add a dot to the inner corner of each eye for a bright-eyed look.
