Lewis Amarante

Lewis is one of the most multifaceted make-up artists. He has been the Spanish Max Factor MAU since 2008 after studying Fine Arts and Fashion Design. He also worked in fashion, magazines and TV. Lewis is one of the most multifaceted make-up artists . He has been working for Max Factor as official make-up artist since 2008. He studied Fine Arts at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale (Florida). He also attended the Drawing Academy in New York and has a major in fashion design and history from Parson in NYC. He has also attended the Mercy Jaquez Technological Institute of Santo Domingo. His career as a make-up artist for catwalks is closely connected to Barcelona where he has been the manager of the make-up team of Gaudi and Circuit catwalks. He has also worked with well known fashion designers. Lewis has done the make-up for many famous Spanish faces (Jose Toledo, Nawja Nimri, Nieves Álvarez, Laura Ponte, Verónica Blume, Vanesa Lorenzo, Esther Cañadas, Silvia Abascal or Penelope Cruz) and international celebrities (PJ Harvey, Madonna o Eagle Eye Cherry). His work can also be seen in famous fashion, beauty and trend magazines such as Elle, Vogue, Glamour, Marie Claire, Neo 2, Vanidad, Cosmopolitan, Rolling Stone, Telva or the Magazine of El Mundo. Lewis’ excellent international reputation has also led him to be invited to write for foreign press (Madame Figaró, Dedicate, Lab o Vanity Fair). Lewis has also been the lead make-up artist for Max Factor and official MUA at the Spanish TV-show La Voz.
