Jake served as apprentice to industry heavyweight Kevyn Aucoin, learning makeup artistry from the ground up at New York fashion shows. Desiring to work on red carpet sirens and add glamour to his body of work, Jake moved to Los Angeles to create gorgeous looks for celebrity beauties that combine their individual styles and his insider knowledge.
In addition to working magic on his clientele, Jake has contributed to editorial beauty spreads in top publications including Allure, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Vanity Fair and Vogue. He has also collaborated with noted photographers such as Patrick Demarchelier, Annie Leibovitz and Gilles Bensimon.
His passion for creating breathtaking looks through color cosmetics inspires women across the country to push the envelope and create their own personal red carpet looks.
Now, Pat brings her global genius and couture-seasoned eye to the New MAX Factor. As the Global Color Cosmetics Creative Design Director for Procter & Gamble, she is the beauty expert and creative force behind the New MAX Factor line. Pat is helping roll out revolutionary new products with updated palettes and high-glam power straight off the catwalks.
Pat has created avant-garde makeup looks for the couture shows of John Galliano, Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Prada, Christian Dior, Stella McCartney, Giorgio Armani and a host of others. Her one-of-a-kind cosmetics artistry has been worn by supermodels including Naomi Campbell and Gisele Bündchen.
Of Jamaican and British heritage, she was born in Northampton, England. While jet-setting around the world, she prefers to stay behind the scenes at the couture shows, but hasn't been able to avoid worldwide acclaim. Pat voraciously gathers inspiration from far-flung sources including Queen Elizabeth, Siouxsie and the Banshees, and Japanese Kabuki art.
